1. Information We Collect

The Company collects only the limited categories of information described below. We have designed the Site to minimize data collection. The following subsections describe each category in detail.

(a) Information Collected Automatically

This automatically collected information is used solely for the operational and analytical purposes described in Section 2 of this Policy and is not used to identify you as a specific individual.

(b) Cookies and Tracking Technologies

• Newsletter sign-up or email subscription forms;

Accordingly, the Site does not directly collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from visitors, including but not limited to names, postal addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, financial information, or payment card data. Any such information you may provide in connection with a booking reservation is submitted directly to and governed by third-party booking platforms, as described in Section 5 of this Policy.

2. How We Use Information

The Company uses automatically collected information only for the following limited and legitimate purposes:

1. Website Performance and Improvement: To monitor, maintain, and improve the technical performance, speed, and usability of the Site.
2. Visitor Behavior and Traffic Analysis: To understand aggregate visitor behavior and traffic patterns, such as which pages are visited most frequently, how long visitors remain on the Site, and from where visitors are referred — so that we may improve the relevance and quality of our content.

3. Google Analytics

The Site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics enables the Company to analyze how visitors interact with the Site by collecting and reporting aggregated usage data.

3.1 How Google Analytics Works

Google Analytics operates by placing one or more cookies on your device. These cookies collect information about your interaction with the Site in a pseudonymous or anonymized form, including:

This add-on instructs the Google Analytics JavaScript code to prohibit sending information to Google. You may also manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings as described in Section 4 of this Policy.

4. Cookies Policy

4.1 What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer, smartphone, tablet, or other internet-connected device by a website server when you visit that website. Cookies are widely used by websites to enable their functionality, remember user preferences, and collect usage information. Cookies do not typically contain personally identifiable information on their own, though they may be linked to such information if you have voluntarily provided it to a website.

5. Third-Party Booking Services and External Links

5.1 Links to Third-Party Platforms

The Site may contain hyperlinks, buttons, or references directing visitors to third-party vacation rental booking platforms and reservation services, which may include, without limitation, platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb, VRBO (Vacation Rentals by Owner), or similar services (collectively, “Third-Party Booking Services”). These platforms operate independently of the Company and this Site.

5.2 Departure from This Site

When you click a link to a Third-Party Booking Service or any other external website and leave the Site, you will be subject to the privacy policies, terms of service, and data practices of that third-party platform. This Policy does not apply to any website or service operated by a third party. The Company has no control over, and assumes no responsibility or liability for, the content, privacy policies, data collection practices, or data security measures of any third-party websites or services.

5.3 Personal Information Submitted to Third Parties

Any personally identifiable information you provide to a Third-Party Booking Service — including, without limitation, your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, payment card information, and travel preferences — is submitted directly to and governed solely by the privacy policy and terms of service of that third-party platform. The Company does not receive, access, process, store, or retain any personal information you submit to Third-Party Booking Services.

5.4 Your Responsibility

The Company strongly encourages you to carefully review the privacy policy of any third-party platform before submitting any personal information. You should satisfy yourself that the data practices of any such platform meet your privacy expectations before proceeding with a booking or reservation.

The Company does not sell, trade, barter, rent, or otherwise transfer visitor information to unaffiliated third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. The Company may share limited, non-personally-identifiable technical data in the following limited circumstances only:

Upon expiration of the applicable retention period, data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with the Company’s standard data management practices and the practices of applicable service providers.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to, intended for, or designed to attract children under the age of thirteen (13). The Company does not knowingly collect, solicit, or retain any personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13). The Company’s practices with respect to children’s data are intended to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506, and the rules promulgated thereunder by the Federal Trade Commission.

As noted throughout this Policy, the Site does not collect personal information from any visitor, including children. No registration, forms, or direct data collection mechanisms are present on the Site. Nevertheless, if a parent or legal guardian has reason to believe that their minor child has in any way provided personal information to the Company through the Site or otherwise in connection with the Site, such parent or guardian is encouraged to contact the Company immediately using the contact information provided in Section 13 of this Policy. Depending on your jurisdiction of residence, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information. Because the Site collects only limited, non-personally-identifiable technical data and does not directly collect personal information from visitors, the practical scope of these rights in the context of this Site is narrow. Nevertheless, the Company is committed to transparency and to honoring applicable rights as follows:

(a) California Residents — California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) / CPRA

(c) Florida Residents — Florida Digital Bill of Rights

If you are a resident of the State of Florida, please note that the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (effective July 1, 2024, Ch. 2023-9, Laws of Florida) grants certain privacy rights to Florida consumers with respect to personal data processed by certain businesses. The Company’s minimal and anonymized data collection practices — as described throughout this Policy — are designed to limit the processing of personal data to the greatest extent possible. The Company does not sell personal data, does not engage in targeted advertising using personal data, and does not process sensitive personal data categories as defined under Florida law. Florida residents who have privacy-related inquiries or requests may contact the Company using the information in Section 13.

10. Security

The Company takes reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information handled through the Site against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Current security measures include:

• HTTPS / SSL Encryption: The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) / Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption, which protects all data transmitted between your browser and the Site’s server during transit.
• WordPress Security Updates: The WordPress core software, installed themes, and active plugins are maintained with current security patches and updates to minimize known vulnerabilities.
• Hosting Environment Protections: The Site’s web hosting environment incorporates firewall protections, intrusion detection measures, and malware scanning capabilities to protect against unauthorized access at the server level.
• Minimal Data Collection by Design: The Site is designed to collect the minimum amount of data necessary for its operation. Because the Site does not store personal information submitted by visitors, the risk of a data breach that would expose visitor personal data is significantly reduced.

11. WordPress Platform

The Site is built on and operated using the WordPress content management platform (wordpress.org), an open-source software application widely used for the construction and management of websites. The following information is provided to transparently explain the role of WordPress in relation to this Policy:

• WordPress Cookies: As a standard function of the WordPress platform, the software may set one or more cookies on your device to support the operation of the Site. These cookies are strictly functional in nature and are used for purposes such as managing sessions within the WordPress administrative interface. They do not track, profile, or collect personal information from non-administrative visitors to the Site.

The Effective Date displayed at the top of this document will be updated each time a substantive revision is made. The Company encourages you to review this Policy periodically to remain informed of any updates. Older versions of this Policy may be made available upon request.
